Cheerleading is an exciting and challenging gymsport that involves music, dance, cheers, tumbling and stunts. Leadership and teamwork are developed to benefit the individual's health and potential in life.

Cheerleading:

Venia has two teams training in the Cheerleading Division of Gymnastics. Both boys and girls are welcome.

The Senior Team, 'The Venia Vixens', work towards competing at interclub and state events -they train on Saturdays from 12.15pm > 1.15pm during school terms.  They are aged 14 and older.

The Junior Team, 'The Venia Vipers', train on Saturdays from 1.15pm > 2pm - these dedicated Cheerleaders enjoy the fun and energetic nature of Cheerleading and can't get enough of the fun movement to music.

NEWS FLASH

"Inclusive Cheer" for people of all ages with a physical and/or intellectual disability can join this gymsport. Held Saturdays. 2pm > 2.45pm. Minimal cost involved. Contact us on 8272 7541 to join.
