Are you looking for a graceful, dynamic and captivating sport that is synonymous with sheer beauty, poise and elegance?

Rhythmic Gymnastics is the perfect sport to teach body awareness and control - skills that will assist in the development of athletic potential for any sporting endeavour.

Rhythmic Gymnastics:

  • Develops posture and confident body movement, for sport and life
  • Enhances co-ordination and agility, for body awareness and balance
  • Enhances creativity and builds self-confidence
  • Increases flexibility and strength and prepares the body for life's challenges
  • Develops healthy minds and bodies for now and later life

Give your daughter the right start in life. Let her experience Rhythmic Gymnastics and watch her confidence and self-esteem grow in leaps and bounds.

Rhythmic Gymnastics offers competition in two divisions in Australia - the National Stream and the International Stream.

The National Stream is for any girl interested to try Rhythmic Gym. From ages 3 and upwards we can ensure that your daughter achieves her personal best in Rhythmic Gymnastics.  This Stream lets girls progress as they learn the required skills in each level, (there are ten levels).  Girls can skip levels or stay in the one level until they are ready to progress.

Girls who are in the National Stream are eligible to compete in Interclub, State Individual & Multiple Championships and girls who qualify in level 7-10 have the chance to compete for South Australia at the annual National Championships.  To be eligible to compete at events gymnasts must sucessfully pass the National Award Testing.

The International Stream is for girls who show ideal attributes to become elite gymnasts.  Girls who are in the International Stream are bound by the rules of the FIG and Gymnastics Australia.  Gymnasts must adhere to age and skill requirements and must also pass a National Award Testing to be eligible to compete at Interclub, State and National Competition.  Gymnasts can also be selected by Gymnastics Australia to compete internationally for their club, state or country.

Unlike many other South Australian Gymnastic Clubs - Venia GymSports offers both the National and International Streams of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
